Jay Z has partnered with Duracell as the new spokesperson for ” Wireless Power Nation” their new Powermat. Jay-Z has announced a new deal with Duracell and Powermat. The hip hop mogul will be a spokesperson for “Wireless Power Nation,” which is a new phone charging system that will be used in public places. The system is to be installed on tables and bars in eateries, gyms and clubs.

The system is already available at his 40/40 clubs. Patrons at restaurants and other establishments will be able to charge their phone by placing it on the table. The device will look like coasters but will charge user’s cell phones.

People will be able to charge wirelessly on embedded ‘wireless power hot spots’ in public venues where they travel and interact throughout their day,” notes Powermat CEO Ron Rabinowitz, in an interview with Mashable. “All they will need to do is put their phone on the table, same thing they normally do.
